Nationally recognized manufacturing industry consultants will highlight strategies for success during the recession in a summit meeting, 7:15 a.m. May 5 at the Hilton Garden Hotel in Fairfield.
Michael Ammann, president of the Solano Economic Development Corporation, urged Solano County manufacturing firms to attend this event which has been organized by the Corporation for Manufacturing Excellence (Manex), a Bay Area consulting firm and the City of Fairfield.
“This is an excellent opportunity for manufacturers, distributors and logistical suppliers to gain insight and some tools for not only survival, but grown in the coming months,” Ammann said.
The summit will feature experts from Manex, Moss-Adams LLP and the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Curt Johnston, economic development division manager with the City of Fairfield, said the summit will provide “…companies with planning (strategies) that will allow them to emerge stronger as the recession ends.”
Both Solano EDC and the City of Fairfield are co-sponsoring the event.
