FULL HOUSE EXPECTED FOR SOLANO COUNTY'S ANNUAL ECOONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MEETING

Fairfield - Business leaders, government and political officials will gather at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fairfield Jan. 25 for Solano Economic Development Corporation's (Solano EDC) Annual Meeting.

Dan Walters, political commentator for the Sacramento Bee, will be the keynote speaker at the conclave. Walters is considered the "dean" of State Capitol journalists. He will give an overview of the current political climate in California, and discuss the changing views about the economic future for the state.

Reservation deadline is Jan. 19, but Mike Ammann, Solano EDC president, urged those interested in attending to make reservations soon, since the event is virtually a sell out.

The annual meeting will include the installation of the 2007 board of directors, and a special presentation on economic development in Solano County.

The event will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fairfield, beginning at 11 a.m. with the luncheon and program to get underway at 11:30 a.m.
